AI Strategy & Migration Lead | Agentic AI Adoption | Technical Lead

Technical leader with nearly 20 years in software, product building, startups, and engineering delivery. I help teams turn AI from exciting experiments into practical systems, better workflows, and real delivery change.

Profile

Over the last three years, I have been hands-on with AI coding tools from early Copilot workflows through today's agentic development patterns. I genuinely love this space: the tools, the pace, the weird edges, and the moment when a team realizes AI can change how they think, build, test, and ship.

My strength is not only using AI tools, but helping teams understand how they change technical decision-making, delivery habits, product thinking, and migration paths. I bring hands-on engineering, product sense, startup experience, and commercial judgment into the same conversation.

  • AI adoption that turns into daily team practice
  • Agentic development and developer automation
  • Modernization across web, TV, media, and API platforms
  • Business-to-technology translation for real delivery

Selected AI Work

  • Started AI Fika at Leyra, a biweekly meetup for AI news, demos, team creations, practical how-tos, and better tool usage.
  • Created and maintained #ai-news channels at Leyra and Magine to make AI learning visible, shared, and part of the team's daily conversation.
  • Built AI-generated slide decks using my own slide-in-mds agent skill: github.com/ramigb/agent-skills/tree/main/slide-in-mds
  • Participated in Leyra's first post-merger hack days. In a team of seven, we built a "Lite" version of the full platform in less than two days using LLM-generated code across backend, web, Android, iOS, and Tizen MVP apps.
  • Co-led an AI-driven alternative back-office admin product at Magine between July and September 2025, using agentic coding techniques and demoing the result at IBC 2025.
  • Helped team members adopt agentic workflows and a mindset where AI becomes a practical engineering partner, not just a code-completion tool.
  • Use AI daily for knowledge distillation into Obsidian, code review, implementation support, workflow automation, and technical exploration.

Personal AI Lab

I keep a very active personal AI lab on GitHub. Some projects are experiments, some are prototypes, and some are intentionally unfinished, but together they show how I explore new ideas quickly and learn by building.

  • RetroMan: collaborative retrospectives platform for product development teams. https://github.com/ramigb/RetroMan
  • Outpost: AI-first deployment harness that plans, provisions, deploys, and rolls back apps on infrastructure you control. https://github.com/ramigb/outpost
  • Promachos: protocol for more consistent, trackable, and collaborative work between humans and AI agents. https://github.com/ramigb/promachos
  • smolBro: local-first chat assistant and background agent with local models, SQLite-backed memory, scheduled jobs, MCP tool support, and opt-in CLI / remote escalation. https://github.com/ramigb/smolBro
  • semantic_skeletonizer: Rust-based MCP server that builds and maintains an in-memory semantic graph of a TypeScript/React codebase. https://github.com/ramigb/semantic_skeletonizer
  • HamadaBlog: autonomous AI writing experiment where an agent ran every hour, read its previous posts and reflection log, chose a topic, wrote 400-800 words, and published without human review before posting. https://github.com/ramigb/HamadaBlog

I am constantly testing new models, agents, and techniques as they appear. I like benchmarks, but I trust hands-on testing more.

Experience

Leyra - Technical Lead

March 2026 - Present | Stockholm
  • Technical lead focused on web after the Magine x Accedo One merger into Leyra.
  • Working in a new post-merger context where the priority is to bring clarity, structure, and delivery focus to the web platform.
  • Current focus includes web delivery, platform direction, AI-assisted workflows, and applying modern engineering practices in a changing organization.

Magine Pro - Lead Engineer

September 2020 - March 2026 | Stockholm
  • Led engineering work on web and TV applications for media and streaming products.
  • Worked across React, GraphQL, Redux, styled-components, Tizen, webOS, and Chromecast.
  • Helped the team build and maintain products across a broad device ecosystem, balancing product requirements, technical constraints, and delivery quality.
  • Acted as a bridge between product direction and engineering execution, keeping decisions grounded in what users and teams actually needed.
  • Built strong experience in platform evolution, front-end modernization, and multi-device delivery. That is useful in AI migration work, where the hard part is often changing how teams build, test, and ship, not just adding another tool.
